CHINESE AND JAPANESE BRONZE / BRASS ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, including an urn-form vase with incised decoration throughout, including a dragon in flight above waves, a phoenix or fenghuang in flight over blossoming flowers, and a key-fret border to shoulder, the underside with embossed Xuande mark bordered by two dragons forming a circle, and a Japanese brass Yakan teapot/kettle, cylindrical form, having a short spout with hinged lid, U-form bail handle, and circular cover with floral-form finial, with key-fret and other geometric decoration to shoulder, handle, and the lid and neck of the spout, incised signature to underside of cover, and embossed mark to underside of base. 19th and first half 20th century. Vases 6 1/4" H, and 10 3/4" H, teapot 6 3/8" H to rim, 6" D body.
Vases in excellent condition overall, expected minor wear, teapot with separation along one side of spout, old repair to side of body, and some expected denting and usage wear; additionally, teapot finial bent, possibly as made.
