Description
ASSORTED MAJOLICA CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising one 11 1/2" x 9" platter molded with asparagus and artichokes possibly of French origin; one unmarked 6 1/4" H teapot molded in the form of a monkey with the head as the cover having a sticker with "The / Trout / Collection"; and one 6 1/2" H pitcher having polychrome glaze with molded berry and leaf designs on sides. Several impressed numerals and painted "S' on base of platter, pitcher impressed "WEDGWOOD". Second half 19th/early 20th century.
Platter undamaged, two light hairlines and several small flakes on rim of pitcher and one hairline on base, teapot with areas of restoration.
