Stamped with the photographer's name, lower right. Edition unknown. High-grade smooth archival paper. Full margins, as issued. Fine impression with heavy ink application and distinctive letterpress. Very good condition. Overall size: 9 1/2 x 11 1/2 in. (241 x 292 mm). Eadweard Muybridge, born Edward James Muggeridge, was an English photographer important for his pioneering work in photographic studies of motion and early work in motion-picture projection. He adopted the first name Eadweard as the original Anglo-Saxon form of Edward, and the surname Muybridge believing it to be similarly archaic. [29373-2-225]
