Each pin with a ball-shaped finial enameled either pink or blue over an engine-turned ground and with a stylized flower form mount set with rose-cut diamonds, contained in retailer's silk- and velvet-lined wood case of the Hammer Galleries, apparently unmarked. Length: 4 in. (10.2 cm). Provenance: Sold by Hammer Galleries in circa 1939, described in the catalogue as having belonged to Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
