Pen and dark brown ink drawing on fine laid paper, study for "Starlit Night," signed "Vincent" (Vincent van Gogh*, 1853-1890). 10 1/8 x 13 5/8 inches. Very good condition. Unframed for inspection and shipping.

This version of "Starlit Night" is different from other versions and studies we have seen or sold. It may be significant as an artist's study or variation for it's treatment of the night sky and the placement of the moon.

Provenance: Formerly part of a private French collection of 19th century and Impressionist drawings and paintings which was sold in Paris in the late 1970's. Now the property of a Dallas collector.
