Contract between Kerensky and the Dodd, Mead & Co. publishers. 2 pp. typed contract signed in ink (350 x 225 mm). Typed sheets pinned into folding green paper wrapper. Condition: wrappers and pages with split to one fold, edges worn, folds. contract between kerensky and the publishers of his important 1919 book "the prelude to bolshevism." Kerensky, an influential political figure, was the 2nd Prime Minister of the Provisional Russian Government before the election in 1917 in which Lenin came to power. Committed to the Russian allies of WWI, Kerensky kept up the fight until taking exile in Paris. Kerensky's agent in the matter of this publication is listed as being Curtis Brown of London. Kerensky died in New York in 1970, one of the last survivors of the incidents of 1917.
