Includes seven poems by Drake and nine by Halleck which appear here for the first time. Handsomely bound new edition of a rare pamphlet of American verse first published in 1819 by two prominent Knickerbockers authors.
Bookplate of Charles Walker Andrews on the front paste-down. The Bradford Club held its inaugural meeting in New York City on October 24, 1859, for the purpose of publishing informative volumes on topics related to American history. The club met periodically and published 8 books, each printed in a limited quantity and distributed among members and the club's subscribers. The Bradford Club dissolved on November 10, 1867.
