Description
Monumental clock made by Tobey Furniture Co. of Chicago with works by Joseph Jennens, Skinner St, London. Hand painted moon phase dial, circa 1900. Case is solid mahogany construction, has original key to all four doors. Clock movement works fine but will need adjustment when moved. Has a nine tube Westminster chime.
Dimensions are: 104" tall, 30 1/2" wide, 21 3/4" deep. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Scattered surface wear and some loss of wood at the top of the ionic columns. Some scuffs from weights on bottom of inside of case. Pendulum glass tube cracked and re-weighted with new material. Fine - Very Fine.
Provenance: From the estate of Eleanor & Rudy Vallee.
