A PAIR OF AESTHETIC STYLE COLORED GLASS, JEWEL, AND MILK GLASS MOUNTED GILT METAL SEVEN LIGHT CANDELABRA, POSSIBLY FRENCH, CIRCA 1870-1880, the tall candelabra with long gilt metal naturalistic shaped standard fitted with tulip petal form bobêches centered by everted rim nozzles, with tulip foliage, grape leaves, tulip blossoms, cast milk glass flowers with gilt metal stamens, and red glass jewel centered gilt metal flowers sprouting from the standard, raised on banded reed columnar support over flaring tripartite banded reed and scroll foot, with acanthus scrolls filling the interstices. In overall fair condition, with cracks and losses to milk glass flowers, rubbing and oxidation to loss gilt metal surfaces.
