This lot consists of a HAND DRAWN graphite and gouache on board, HAND SIGNED with the monogram "E.D." at lower left. This is a study of an Arab man in white robes. It is done in the Romantic style of Eugene Delacroix (French, 1798-1863). A label en verso, reads "Exposition Delacroix, Musee du Louvre et Bibliotheque Nationale, Juin-Juillet 1980" along with some illegible printing and a hand-written signature. A second label, taped above the first, has the hand written name "Delacroix" and some unreadable words. Unframed work measures approximately 16" x 11".
