This lot consists of a Hand Painted oil on board, hand signed 'Konstantin Korovin'. Image depicts the neat facade of old ruins, with surrounding scenery that reverberates a theme of warm, muted, and earthy tones in the style associated with Konstantin Korovin (Russian 1861- 1939). The sky beyond the ruins is slightly ominous, and lends great shadows to the recesses of the painted structures.This piece measures approximately 12.25" x 18".

Overall in very nice condition with some age related signs of wear including staining, bumping, rubbing particularly around the edges (possibly where once framed). Colors are bold and vibrant and show very well.
