TITLE/CONTENT OF MAP: 'Carte géographique, statistique et historique de Porto-Rico et des Iles-Vierges'
The islands coloured yellow (principally Puerto Rico and Vieques) were, at the time of publication, Spanish territories. The Danish (now US) Virgin Islands are coloured green, and the British Virgin Islands are coloured pink.
