He painted in and around Rockport, Massachusetts for most of his life and is noted for his cubist dissection of objects and landscape subjects in the composition. He studied with J.S. Ankeney and Charles Kaelin. He was a charter member of the Rockport Art Association, and exhibited in many eastern venues from the 1930s-40s.".His works are routinely sold at Skinner Auction house in Boston, and at other auction houses around the country.

Good condition overall, no signs of restoration.This painting is 24" x 20" in a frame that is about 1/4 of an inch wide.
