CONFEDERATE VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS MEDALS AND APPLICATION FORMS Good lot of two medals and three application forms, all related to organizations for the descendants of Confederate Army veterans, includes: Pair of partly-printed D.S.s, each 1p. 8vo. (sight), Richmond, April, 1908, an application to join the R.E. Lee Camp of the Sons of the Confederate veterans from Ralph Parker Neale, along with a record form for his father, Confederate private James Thomas Neale, who served in the 53rd Virginia Infantry Regiment. The documents are matted and framed with an albumen photo, presumably of the junior Neale, along with a Daughters of Confederate Veterans Southern Cross of Honor. The documents show folds, else very good. WITH: Partly-printed D.S., 1p. 4to., Wilmington, VA, April 18, 1906, an application submitted by E.T. Hughes to the United Daughters of the Confederacy, in consideration for a Confederate Cross of Honor. Hughes attests that he was a private in the 4th Virginia Cavalry, and states that he was discharged upon Lee''s surrender at Appomattox. The application is matted and framed with a Daughters of Confederate Veterans Southern Cross of Honor, presumably Hughes''. Folds, else very good. Two pieces.
