Wonderful Venetian Seal depicting the Lion of St. Mark in Moléca in Carrara Marble Statuary (in dialect called "Leon in moeca", this expression is due to the position in which the Lion is commonly portrayed, while keeping, underneath, the tight gospel between the two legs assuming an appearance that looks like a crab for the shape of the wings, in the Venetian Moléca is the name of the small crabs).The object is of excellent quality, comes from the city of Venice. It was customary to embed the coat of arms in the walls of the most important villas in the area, a typical feature of the place. Lot more unique than rare, of extraordinary quality, sculpted and worked entirely by hand, details and details well defined.Intact in all its parts, perfect condition. Do not overlook the Carrara Statuary Marble, precious and rare, with a very fine and elegant grain. Private collection, an evocative and valuable item given the not excessive dimensions, well proportioned.In case of shipment will be shipped with wooden case and appropriate packaging.
