Depicting attacking infantry with lances, one soldier carrying a large flag, some mounted troops, carrying another flag, as well as a military staff supervising the offensive from a distant position and behind a rostrum bearing the inscription Shuai (commander, general). The flags bear the characters Liu and Cao.

Dimensions: 125 x 89 cm.
Condition: Good condition with some wear and minor nicks here and there, some older scratches
Provenance: Austrian private collection, assembled in Asia in and before the 1930s
