1- Early Worcester Dr Wall 'Queen Charlotte' c. 1765 Queen Charlotte Cream Jug, marked with a painted square seal mark. Good condition 3". 2- Worcester Flight & Barr period 'Queen Charlotte' Plate c 1810. BFB incised mark. Good Condition, 7 3/4". Weight 11 oz. PROVENANCE: . This 18th century Worcester pattern, "Catherine's Wheel", came to be known as the "Queen Charlotte" pattern after Queen Charlotte, the wife of George III, who purchased a set from Worcester in 1788. Iron red, pink and cobalt blue swirl from the center forming a pinwheel.The Royal Worcester porcelain factory is the oldest, continuously operating, english porcelain factory still in production today. PROVENANCE: A Private Williamsburg VA Estate.
