Rare Ding Ware Dragon-Handled Amphora. The tall ovoid body set with a waisted neck rising to a cupped mouth and flanked by a pair of dragon handles spring up from the shoulder and biting the rim, the body carved with two peony blooms borne on undulating leafy stems, all between a band of radiating leaves on the shoulder and overlapping upright lappets encircle the foot, covered overall with a lustrous ivory colored glaze with characteristic greenish tinge, the unglazed foot reveal the dense white stoneware, 12 inches high.
