Vintage set of 8 Madrid Green dinner plates manufactured by the Federal Glass Company between the years 1932-1939. Federal Glass opened their doors for business in 1900 in Columbus, Ohio. During the 1930’s they led all glass makers with their production of machine pressed colored glassware. This Madrid Green pattern was one of those patterns that was very successful for the glass company. Depression era glass was not always known for its quality with its mold marks, bubbles and other flaws, but the time period between the 1920’s through the 1940’s this mass produced glass dinnerware provided families with an array of beautiful colors and patterns for everyone’s taste. These depression era square glass luncheon plates are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Each plate measures 8 ?” in diameter. This price is for a set of eight (8).
