The first: Visual: Generally good condition. Crazing scattered throughout. An area of craquelure upper left. Stretcher bar creases along the four edges. Blacklight: Touch-up scattered throughout, including in the man's face and hair. Three spots of touch-up upper center, left center and right center each with corresponding patch verso. Difficult to read under varnish.
The second: Visual: Generally good condition. Blacklight: Small spots of touch-up upper center and left center. Possible touch-up scattered throughout the background. Difficult to read under varnish.
Frame: The first: 19" H x 16" W x 1.5" D; the second: 18" H x 15" W x 1.5" D.
