Pouyat Limoges Gold Encrusted Porcelain ninty-eight piece Dinnerware set, service retailed by John Wanamaker, Philadelphia, manufactured by Jean Pouyat Limoges, France, between 1891 and 1932. The set consists of twelve dinner plates, twelve soup bowls, seventeen salad or luncheon plates, twelve bread and butter plates, twelve sauce bowls, twelve handled bouillon cups with fourteen liners, six cups and saucers and one large oval platter. All in white porcelain with an intricate gold-encrusted border, platter is 14 1/2"l. JPL backstamp, W in wreath retailers mark. [60] CONDITION: Wear from use.
