In 1928 he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence , where he began to distinguish himself for the use of the watercolor technique , specializing at the end of the 1940s in London at the Royal Watercolour Society . His first personal exhibition was held in Mantua in 1939 , to follow Florence , Padua , Prato , Naples , Venice , Milan . In 1947he took part in the Mantovana Art Exhibition at the Palazzo della Ragione in Mantua on the occasion of the Mantova Fair. His exhibitions were held in the United States of America , England , France and Switzerland . Numerous collections host his paintings, including the Uffizi Gallery and the Capitoline Museums.
