PROVENANCE:
The Estate of Philip Cardeiro Bronze figure seated dhyanasana on rounded base, soles of feet incised with Wheels of Transmigration, hands presented in mudra positions, flowing robe with incised patterning opening at the waist, ribboned dhoti to stomach, wan symbol incised to chest, surmounted by five-pointed elaborate pierced headdress interspersed with seated deities.

Condition
Rubbing to gilding throughout, minor verdigris, some dirt/dust accretions, remnants of polychroming to headdress, base with slight upturning; there is an old break to the figure's crown not readily visible in the printed and online photos, the fragment is included with the lot.
