Accordion-style album with 26 panels of heavy card stock, on which are mounted 8 color plates from photographs, other panels are blank or with captions. Overall 42.5x33.3 cm (16¼x12"), decorative cloth, chitsu.

Photographs of performers in costume, with the plays named on the facing leaf. There is a printed leaf in Japanese laid in, describing each play, the date of the performance, actors, etc. A typed sheet in English, offering brief descriptions and synopses of the plays is also laid in.

Chitsu with some fading and wear, lacking the bone clasps; album with some edge wear, split through at several seams; good to very good.
