Description
BRITISH HISTORICAL RECORD VOLUMES, SET OF SIX, Peter Barfoot and John Wilkes, "The Universal British Directory of Trade, Commerce, and Manufacture", no date given, presumed date 1793, printed for the authors at the British Directory Office, London, in six volumes, including Supplement volume, Volume I having fold-out map titled "A New & accurate PLAN of the CITIES of LONDON, WESTMINSTER, & BOROUGH of SOUTHWARK; with the Out Parts & New Buildings, completed to the Year 1791", with some period hand-coloring; rebound in brown cloth boards with gilt lettering, but retaining likely period bookplates of a previous owner.
Very good to excellent condition overall, rebound as described, interiors remarkably clean, most with less than expected toning, some minor creases/dog-ears to some corners, very legible, appears complete, fold-out map with expected creases.
