As the highest peaks in either hemisphere had yet to be discovered, Chimborazo in Ecuador is depicted as the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere and Nepal's Dhaulagiri as the world's highest point. Also identified along the sides of the information-rich image are high elevation cities, the highest flight of the condor and the highest elevation reached by naturalist Alexander von Humboldt.; G2894; J.
