MID-ATLANTIC CARVED TREEN FIGURAL PINWHEEL / STAR DIMINUTIVE LOLLIPOP-FORM BUTTER PRINT, one-piece construction, single-sided circular-form with a five-point swirling feathered pinwheel/star with a ribbed edge rim, reverse with flat bowl form and slightly arched flat shaped handle with double heart carving. 19th century. 5 1/2" L, 2 3/8" D print.
Very good overall condition with light wear, rim lacking one rib, reverse bowl and handle with some separations.
Provenance: From the Carlton Cotting estate collection, Vienna., VA.
