Description
CHINESE PORCELAIN LAMPS, CIRCA 1840, PAIR, H 28 1/2"-29":The first depicting cranes in trees, measuring h. 10 5/8" (porcelain only), h. 28 1/2" (overall), the second with an immortal figure in an outdoor landscape, measuring h. 10 1/2" (porcelain only), h. 29" (overall). Each with new mahogany bases and shades. Orange peel glaze. From the Estate of Margaret Barton, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
Condition
One lamp has a 3" crack with a thin 1" long chip in the crack near the top of the porcelain. Both have wear to the gold trim. One is in good condition.
