AN AMERICAN EMPIRE CURLY SUGAR MAPLE GENTLEMAN'S SHAVING MIRROR, POSSIBLY NEW ENGLAND, 1815-1830, the wide, slanted frame with mitered joints, centering a rectangular mirrored plate. Height: 13 1/2" Width: 11 1/8" Depth: 1 1/8" NOTE: Secondary wood: pine.

Condition

A few minor chips of the veneer near the corners, some cracking of veneer expected with figure of wood and age, overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
