A GROUP OF THREE CONTINENTAL FOOTSTOOLS, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, consisting of a Louis XV style walnut example with a turtle shaped, bowed cushion, over carved flower blooms at the knees, and centering the arched skirt, now covered in mint green velvet upholstery, height: 7 1/2", width: 14", depth: 11 1/2"; a Louis XVI style carved beech example with applied bead molding, block and florets, raised on turned tapered fluted legs, ending in French toes, now covered in striped Chinoiserie botanical upholstery, and an Italian Louis XV style beech example with carved acanthus leaf knees, raised on six scrolled feet and French Toes, joined by a serpentine skirt, now covered in striped velvet and needlepoint flower tendril upholstery with cream silk gimp trim, height: 8 1/2", width: 20 1/2", depth: 9".

Some surface wear, the walnut example has some staining to the upholstery, mild scratches, abrasions and general wear, but overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
