A stunning gold, turquoise, and lapis lazuli beaded necklace composed of 26 ovoid and 2 tubular natural turquoise beads interspersed with 30 lapis lazuli spacers and a pair of 16K gold eye-loop pendants - culminating in a beautiful 18K gold lunate pendant that is inlaid with trilobed turquoise inlays and further adorned by a filigreed border. Clearly, a special piece of wearable art from the ancients of Western Asia, not only made from precious stone beads and high karat gold pendants, but also arranged in a captivating design. All turquoise and lapis lazuli beads as well as gold eye-loop and lunate pendants are ancient. Strung in modern times. The stone beads are generally excellent save tiny chips to ends of three located at the end furthest from the pendants. Gold eye loop pendants are excellent as is the lunate pendant save normal dents commensurate with age.
