German, late 19th century. Two Black Forest carved wall brackets, each depicting a grouse with turned head on an acanthus-leaf backdrop; (each) ht. 15.5, wd. 10.5, dp. 8 in.

Condition

Bracket with bird's head turned down: small split to front of bird, to a couple back leaves, to rocks underneath, and to platform on top.
Bracket with bird's head turned up: tip of beak worn off and splits in platform.
