Description
A large Egyptian steatite plaque, Ramesside, c. 1200 - 1075 BC, with the names of a pharaoh in two cartouches, each surmounted by plumes, the opposite side with a standing pharaoh with an amuletic cartouche of Thutmose III. 27 x 20 mm. Nicely carved with light deposits, holed lengthwise for suspension. Ex Hamdy Sakr collection, London, acquired in the 1960's - 1970's.
