1920'S SILK CHIFFON, BEADED, AND PLEATED DRESSES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising one silk crêpe in dark brown with apron-style front, silk-lined double-teared skirt, long sleeves, and intricate black beading, snap closures, fits approximately 33" bust; one black silk crêpe with dropped waist, long sleeves, decorative buttons, and sharp pleating to front of skirt, no closures, fits approximately 34" bust; one featherlight silk floral chiffon "flapper" summer day dress in mustard yellow, lavender, peach and pink, dropped waist, gathered short skirt, short sleeves, rounded neckline, entirely hand sewn, no closures, slips over the head, unusually small head opening, petite sized dress; one bright navy blue and pink featherweight, opaque silk polka-dotted "flapper" day dress with pleated, slightly ruffled collar and cuffs on short sleeves, decorative mother-of-pearl buttons, slightly flared skirt with gore, loose-fitting belt with hidden snap closure, entirely hand-sewn, no closures on dress, slips over the head, with unusually small head opening, petite sized dress. 1920-1929. The first in fair condition, mostly intact but with substantial shattering, fading, staining overall; the second in fair condition, intact, with moderate to significant soiling, stains with moderate splitting and weak areas in fabric, both cuffs shattered, decorative buttons loose; the third in very good condition, clean, bright without fading, no stains or odors, with only one or two pinholes and snags from wear upon close inspection, a few slightly loose seams, and a 2" section has torn along seam at waist; the fourth example in excellent condition without damage, no noticeable storage odor, appears unworn.
