Signed by Bukowski in ink at bottom of second page, dated 1-8-76, along with his drawing of a little man. Typescript poem revealing Bukowski's creative process, with numerous edits and changes in his hand. Bukowski's agreement with the Black Sparrow Press was that he would keep a copy of the submitted poem, would send a signed and dated copy to Black Sparrow, and any other copies were not signed. It is very uncommon to see a submitted poem with such extensive corrections by Bukowski.

The poem appeared in Bukowski's 1977 collection, Love is a Dog from Hell, and later in Heat Wave, 1995.

Light wear, light creases from original folds, tiny holes from removed staples in upper left corners; very good.
