A superb Chinese nephrite celadon jade censer, in round deep vessel form, with domed lid, circular bud finial, and dual free-ring ornamentations. Dragon heads creates shoulder pieces with U-shaped curls extending from the mouth outward eventually connecting further down the vessel to complete the handle grips. Tripod footings protrude from the bottom of the censer mating to corresponding grooves located on the hardwood stand. Decorated with archaistic pattern simulating the taotie mask of the seeing eyes. interspersed with beautiful chisel work. Jade stone is pristine with a greyish-celadon iridescence and creamy off-white coloration, with attractive sporadic golden russet arrangement of natural inclusions, moist slicky appearance.
