This Antique Regency period Copper & Brass Samovar (or Tea Urn) has a tinned interior. It is missing the original cast iron slug, which was warmed in a fire & then inserted into the central tube to keep water hot. Circa: 1820 (Height: 44 cm Width: 38 cm) 15” x 15” 16” This beautiful English Regency period samovar is in very good condition- only a few minor dents. Handle works easily but does have a leak- I did not try and fix it because I do not have a clue how to do it. As stated it does not have the slug that warms the liquid but solid metal pieces can be obtained and a hook put on the top so it can be remove and put in. Simply one of the best looking samovars I have ever seen.
