Description
CUT DOUBLE OVERLAY MOORISH WINDOWS KEROSENE STAND LAMP, opaque cobalt blue to opaque white to colorless pyriform font, translucent starch blue Baroque base, brass connector and No. 2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a No. 2 lip burner with attached shade ring, colorless tapered lip chimney, topped with a blown Oregon shade with floral decoration. Cast-brass prism ring holding blue two-part cut-facet prisms. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1860-1880. 22 1/2" H to top of shade, 14 1/4" H to top of the collar, 5 1/2" SQ base.
Undamaged with some minute instances of surface wear, some prisms with light tipping to the points. Base with networks of annealing lines, as made.
