VICTORIAN MIXED-METAL BANQUET LAMP, urn-form font vase with attached cast-brass scrolling feet, cast-brass medial band and spill ring, topped with a ball-form shade with polychrome-enamel floral decoration, brass shade ring, brass drop-in font. Fitted with a brass burner, colorless slip chimney. Electrified. Maker unverified. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 22" H to top of shade, 12 3/4" H to top of shade ring, 7 3/4" SQ base. Shade 9" H, 4" D fitter.
Virtually undamaged with the metal base having scattered minor pitting, an isolated area of more developed pitting with a few small openings, shade virtually undamaged with a few minor flakes to the fitter.
Provenance: From the Culver collection, Tom & Michael Andrews, Berlin, MD.
