Hongshan Culture, 4700-2900 BC. A group of jade items consisting of: two axes with slightly splayed flat blades and flat butts, pierced to the end; a pair of 'pig-dragons' with curling bodies and stylised heads, engraved detail to bodies, pierced for suspension; a dragon with engraved details to face, sinuous body, pierced to top for suspension. 808 grams total, 6-17cm (2 1/4 - 6 3/4").
