Description
2nd millennium BC. A mixed group of bronze harness fittings comprising: a snaffle-bit with double loops; two curved cheekpieces, each with three loops to the rear; two discoid harness bosses with loop to the reverse, one with concentric patterning; two harness fittings, each two discs joined by a flat-section strap; and a single bronze spearhead, leafshaped with prominent midrib and flared socket, pierced through. 625 grams total, 42-170mm (1 3/4-6 3/4"). From a private collection; previously in an old central Asian collection; acquired in the late 1940s. [8, No Reserve]
