A silver ring with shank widening to the shoulder, decorated with flowers, rosettes and acanthus leaf pattern, some elements picked out in gilt; square bezel engraved with a heart crossed by an Orthodox cross and anchor with All Seeing Eye in radiate triangle above, two lines of Greek inscription around the side. 9.62 grams, 25.45mm overall, 22.08mm internal diameter (approximate size British Z 1/2, USA 12 3/4, Europe 29.43, Japan 28) (1"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired by his father in the 1970s; thence by descent.
