Description

with carved and pierced crest, tufted leather upholstery and fitted with a lift up writing box having a cast brass mechanical candleholder marked "Nettlefold & Sons", who were hardware merchants located at 54 High Holborn, London in the mid-19th century. Good condition with a couple loose joints, expected age and use wear. 48 1/2" high, 26" wide. 25" deep. Provenance: Property of a Morristown NJ Estate.
