GROVER CLEVELAND (1837-1908). 22nd and 24th President of the United States, the Only President of the United States to Serve Non-Consecutive Terms (1885-1889, 1893-1897).
1894-Dated, Cabinet Card Fully Signed, “Grover Cleveland 1894”, Choice Extremely Fine. The image measures 3.5” x 5” (by sight), with photographer’s “COPYRIGHT BY C.M. Bell” blindstamp embossed into the bottom edge of this handsome bust portrait photo. Studio imprint on mount below image, easily readable in medium blue ink being Signed and Dated below the portrait. This Cabinet Card mount slightly trimmed along bottom with hidden remnants of prior mounting along its bottom edge. Housed in a handsome patriotic period frame, measuring to 5.5” x 8” with an American Heraldic Eagle with crossed Flags at top for decoration. Overall in Extremely Fine condition with only a hint of trivial light tone spotting. Cleveland’s Presidential terms ran from: March 4, 1885 – March 4, 1889 and March 4, 1893 – March 4, 1897 making this 1894 dated Photograph absolutely signed while in office as President and far more desirable, rare and valuable to collectors as such.
