This specimen of Dioptase hails from arguably the most famous location in the entire world ever to have produced the variety - the Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. This delightful smaller example features a relatively significant number of larger crystals over its highly dimensional surface, including a promontory point of the colorful material. The dense primary face of the specimen exhibits a small singular patch of white as the matrix shows through on an area devoid of complete crystals, which might even be contact damage. This piece displays excellent color and great shape. This collector's piece is representative of the locality.
