This lot consists of a HAND SIGNED and Numbered fine art print on heavy paper, hand signed 'Magritte' and numbered '90/200'. Image depicts an almost translucent door that stands alone at the edge of the sea. It has been left ajar, and a cloud floats through its opening. Nothing is attached, nothing holds it up. The sea beyond appears placid as the sun shines down brightly on this strange scene. Done in the neat, provocative Modern Art style of Surrealist Rene Magritte (Belgian, 1898-1967). Overall excellent condition. Image is depressed into the paper indicating plate marks. Measures approximately 8.5" x 11.5".
