This lot consists of an hand rendered mixed media (acrylic and paper) collage on board, signed "Rauschenberg". Image depicts 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, deep in telephone conversation. His image floats above what appears to be Manhattan -- a dense, faceless urban area absolutely filled with cold cement facades and soaring skyscrapers. Rings, drips, and wide strokes of paint cover and at the same time highlight this city scene. Done in the graphic Modern art style of Robert Rauschenberg (American, 1925-2008). Piece measures approximately 9.75" x 13.75".
