This is an incredible lot for the collector or jeweler. There are 195 small cameos carved into lava stone and one large one. There are a variety of different faces and lots of duplicates to make earrings, necklaces, bracelets or stick pins. The one larger one that would make a nice pendant or brooch, and measures approx 1" long and shows fine high relief details. The majority of the small ones measure approx 3/8" but that varies slightly in each piece. From the collection of Louis Rauch who was the head designer at "Le Petie Musee" in New York before heading off on his own. His work was well known and had many celebrity clients. His work was featured in major publications including Vogue magazine. Included is a picture of his work in Vogue, picture is for illustrative purposes and not for sale.

The larger one does have a chip, could be carved away. I did not examine each and every one, but the ones I did look at closely all appear to be in very good to excellent condition
