A Chinese seated Luohan wearing loose robes carved from soapstone and dating from the 18th to 19th century. The piece has a metal base with 6 characters in front, and the figure offers a blessing with one hand and holds a staff in the other.

Dimensions are: 6 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The staff may have been broken off, but it is in otherwise good condition.
