Title: Selbstbildnis (Self Portrait)
Date: 1920
Measurements: 18" x 14" x 1"Â overall including frame.
Condition: Good condition. Not examined out of frame. Frame has minor wear.
Notes: This print is an iconic work by the artist and is held in many public and private collections including the Museum of Modern Art. Pencil signed and dated, 1920. Housed in a quality frame with mat, under non-glare glass.
Provenance: From a San Francisco estate.
About the artist: Conrad Felixmuller, born Conrad Felix Muller, was an important German Expressionist artist in the Weimar era. Felixmuller was one of the youngest members of the New Objectivity movement. His paintings often deal with the social realities of Germany's Weimar Republic. He was mentor to the German Expressionist Otto Dix. Felixmuller's works are held in public and private collections around the world.
